Apply on the official portal when notified
Admission into Class VI is through the State-level Model Schools entrance test. Vacancies in Classes VII to X are filled through a separate entrance test. Intermediate admissions are made after SSC as per rules. Watch this page and the official portal for the 2027-28 notification.

- Class VI: Students who studied Class V in a recognised school in Telangana
- Classes VII – X: Passed the previous class; subject to vacancies
- Intermediate: Passed SSC or equivalent examination
- Reservation for SC / ST / BC / EWS / PH as per Government orders

How are students selected for Class VI?
Through the State-level Model Schools entrance test. Selection is on merit, following the rules of reservation, within the mandal/district as notified.
Can my child join in Class VIII or IX?
Yes, if seats are vacant. Lateral admissions to Classes VII to X are made through the same entrance test against vacancies.
